Franco-Beninese, with a degree in political science and journalism, Laeïla Adjovi grew up in Gabon and South Africa. An autodidact photographer, her photographic practice creates ties between different social strata, cultures and worlds. The series, Malaïka Dotou Sankofa, winner of the grand prize at the 2016 Dakar Biennale, was created in collaboration with Loïc Hoquet.
